The American Lifeguard and Safety Training™ is a trademark of the American Lifeguard Association® health and safety courses. For over 30 years, the American Lifeguard Association has provided lifeguard training and certified over 250,000 individuals worldwide. The U.S. Department of Labor has determined our lifeguard programs are equivalent to those offered by the American Red Cross.

We charge a $25.00 administrative fee to search our database of over 250,000 certification records. Upon verification of your records, an official digital certification will be emailed to you the same day. Additionally, as a courtesy, we will mail a wallet-sized certification card at no additional cost. The card will be sent via first-class mail, and you can expect to receive it within 3 to 5 business days.

Your digital certification will detail all the most recent training you completed with the American Lifeguard Association. If we cannot locate your records under the information provided, the $25.00 administrative fee will remain the same, as it covers the cost of the search. Should this occur, we will contact you via email to request additional details to perform a more thorough search.

If you do not have a charge card, you may print out the form and mail it along with a $25.00 check or money order to the address listed below. Please make checks payable to the American Lifeguard Association.
