We offer American Lifeguard & Safety Training to become a certified lifeguard through distance learning. With our blended program, after completing the online portion of our course, you will be issued a national two-year certification in lifeguarding, CPR/AED, and First Aid. Current standards require that employers evaluate the skills of all candidates before hiring regardless of the issuing entity. Our program's skills reflect ECC science and findings from the United States Lifeguard Standards Coalition Report.
Over the past 30 years, we have gained Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recognition as a national training entity and are listed with their Healthy Swimming website. The U.S. Department of Labor and the General Service Administration (GSA) has determined that the American Lifeguard Association offers lifeguard certification programs similar to those provided by the American Red Cross.
