American Lifeguard and Safety Training™

The American Lifeguard and Safety Training™ is a trademark of the American Lifeguard Association® health and safety courses. The American Lifeguard Association has been offering lifeguard training for over 30 years and has trained over 250,000 individuals worldwide. The US Labor Department has determined our lifeguard programs are equivalent to the American Red Cross training program.

The American Lifeguard Association® is an educational association with full support from both the Swimming Pool and Spa Association and Global Lifeguards, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. These organizations are all members of the Global Lifeguard Association, and make up one of the largest worldwide aquatic consortiums. Over the past 30 years, they have certified over 250,000 individuals worldwide. Training programs are offered to the general public both online and at over 3,000 locations in over 120 countries and 900 cities.

With all our International Provider Agreements, the first registered instructor is included in the annual provider fee, and then an additional $1,000.00 per instructor per calendar year. We ask that once you make payment for any other instructors that you email us at alalifeguard@aol.com with the additional instructor(s) name and date of birth, so we may list them under your agreement and issue an instructor certification card.
